Members of the student organization Kosmos Buran offer accommodation in their homes. Registration for buddy accommodation is done via a Google Forms survey, and spots are filled in order of registration. Link to the form: Sociology Days student accommodation
Hostel Cafe Koti
A local hostel located in central Rovaniemi offers a discount for student accommodation! By using the code SOSIOLOGIPÄIVÄT, you get a 15% discount when booking accommodation for the period May 6–10 through their website.
Airbnb
The winter season is over, so there are plenty of available Airbnb apartments in Rovaniemi.

Wednesday, May 6 at 18:00 – Campfire Pancake Gathering at Ounasvaara Scenic Tower Shelter
- We will gather together at 18:00 at Lordinaukio square in central Rovaniemi and continue as a group towards the shelter at Ounasvaara Scenic Tower.
- Pancakes will be served at the shelter, so bring your own drinks and, if needed, some snacks.
- The distance from Lordinaukio to the shelter is approximately 2 km and includes some steep uphill sections. Please wear suitable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Unfortunately, the shelter and the route are not fully accessible. For more information about accessibility, contact Miiro Toissalo (mtoissal@ulapland.fi).
- If weather conditions do not allow for the campfire event, alternative programme will be arranged.

Thursday, May 7 at 18:00 – Evening Programme
- The evening begins with a checkpoint tour near the University of Lapland, where you will complete fun challenges in teams.
- After the tour, the programme continues at the university’s AJ facilities with various engaging activities and socializing. Light snacks will be available.
- Finally, we will head together to the afterparty in the heart of Rovaniemi at Kansan Pubi!

Friday, May 8 at 9:00–11:00 – WOP x Kosmos Buran Breakfast
- The final day of Sociology Days starts with breakfast at the University of Lapland AJ facilities from 9:00 to 11:00. The event is free of charge and all offerings are vegan.
