The main events of Sociology Days, such as registration and the keynote speeches, take place in C-wing and lecture hall Fellman. You will find the seminar rooms for workshop sessions later from the website and also from the conferencematerial given to you when you register.
There are restaurant Felli and cafeteria Lovisa at the University of Lapland. Also restaurant Hilla, restaurant Tekuila and restaurant Rantsu are situated closest to the conference venue.
The phone number of the local taxi center is 020088000. You can also reach the university with public transportation. The city center is within a walking distance (2,5km), and the dinner venue is located in the city center (Cafe Tivoli, Valtakatu 19). Train-waitingclub is at Kauppayhtiö (Valtakatu 24, 96200 Rovaniemi).
Every participant takes care of their own accommodation. However, a certain number of rooms have been reserved for conference participants in the local hotels with special conference prices. When making a reservation, use the particular reservation code of the hotel, which is indicated in the accommodation page. Notice also that the special prices for conference participants expire approximately a month before the event.
