The Sociological Conference will take place at the University of Eastern Finland’s Kuopio campus in spring 2024. The conference theme this year is ”Borders, Boundaries, and Encounters.” The organizing committee is now seeking students as conference assistants to participate in event production.

The tasks of conference assistants include pre-conference preparation tasks, managing the registration desk, guiding conference attendees, assisting in the organization of working group sessions, and other tasks as agreed upon. The work tasks are mainly scheduled for the period of March 21-22, 2024 (Thu-Fri), but there may be a need for assistants before this time. The organizers will provide training for the assistants, and no prior experience is required. All social sciences students are welcome to apply.
