New Books discussions

New books 12th March 9 – 10am

A new section in the Sociological Conference 2021 programme are the New Books discussions.  New Books are events for discussing books published in the past two years. The discussion events will be held on the second day of the conference, Friday 12th March at 9 – 10am.  All of the book discussions are held in Finnish.

Format of the New Books events

  • 10 min presentation of the book
  • 30 min discussion – commentator’s comments and questions to the presenter
  • 20 min audience questions
